Caitlin’s Client-List Information
As of January 1st, 2022 Caitlin is no longer accepting new patients. Online booking with Caitlin (for existing clients) is a bit different than previous - which is outlined here, as well as some answers to potential questions/concerns.
Why did Caitlin stop taking new clients?
After repeatedly hearing how difficult it was for the clients she’s been treating for years to get on her schedule, she felt the need to prioritize the loyalty and rapport she’s built with her existing clients. As our most senior therapist aside from the owners themselves, she has too many regular clients who were having difficulty finding appointments with her to consider taking on more.
How was it decided who counts as an existing client?
A “membership” (no cost - see details below) was given to all clients who have cumulatively seen Caitlin in the last 3 years or were on the tentative schedule at least 2 times as of 01/01/2022.
I wasn’t considered Caitlin’s existing client but I should’ve been - how can I get on her schedule?
If you saw Caitlin more than 3 years ago, welcome back! Assuming you’ve seen her at least twice, fill out the Client-List Request Form and we’ll get your online booking membership added. If you are a word-of-mouth referral or family member of an existing client we may (or may not) be able to accommodate you. Fill out the Client-List Request Form and we will get back to you. I thought The Garage Massage didn’t do memberships? I don’t want to be charged extra!
The “membership” is only a technicality. MindBody, our booking software, doesn’t currently have a way to restrict online booking with specific therapists. The only workaround is to assign a “membership” to the specific clients that are eligible to book with the therapist, and adjust the service types for that therapist to members only. There is NO additional cost!
How do I book online with Caitlin now?
Follow the images/instructions below - it’s very similar to how online booking worked previously.
After signing in to your MindBody account, click “Book with Caitlin” under the Find an Appointment section.
Select an appointment option from the list (for simplicity’s sake, a “Customized Massage” encompasses all table massage (e.g., Swedish, Therapeutic). NOTE: 90m sessions are typically restricted to booking over the phone/in person to prevent large chunks of downtime between sessions. Unless you are booking the 90m at 5:00, you MUST be flexible with your start time to close those large gaps or your session will be reduced to 60m instead.
The rest of the process proceeds as normal, though we recommend manually setting the date range to include all 120 days that are allowed in our booking policy (since leaving it as “As Soon As Possible” manually adjusts the search parameters to just the next 2 months instead).
